Some stories start with grand plans. Others simply begin.

Yara was born during an unexpected time: amid the pandemic, between 2020 and 2021, an idea began to take shape and, little by little, evolved from just a story into a universe.

Since then, Miguel Amaral has been slowly developing this world, creating characters, places, events, and stories that are still far from being completely told.

What lies ahead

A universe in the making

The book you are about to read is just one part of this universe. As the story progresses, new characters will be introduced, new mysteries will be uncovered, and different parts of this world will begin to connect.

Some stories might take place long before the events of Yara. Others may emerge after. Some might follow characters you don't even know yet. The goal is to build this universe gradually, allowing it to grow alongside its readers.

New books, characters, and stories are part of this project's future. And over time, this universe may step beyond the pages. New ways to explore the story are planned, including interactive experiences and, eventually, games set in this same world. None of this needs to happen all at once. This is a universe that will be built chapter by chapter, story by story.
